COMMUNITY

At HeadsUp Systems, we believe in supporting our community.  One of our favorite non-profits is Insulindependence, and we are proud to say that HeadsUp Systems has already raised or donated over $1000 each year for Insulindependence in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014:

Insulindependence is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that inspires people with diabetes to set personal fitness goals, educates them on adaptive management strategies through hands-on experience, and equips them to explore their individual capacities. Insulindependence helps people with diabetes meet others who share their recreational passions through their fitness and adventure programs, clubs and events.

HeadsUp Systems is an official corporate partner of the Insulindependence Triabetes Club:

Triabetes is the world’s largest triathlon club for people with diabetes, encouraging better health through multisport training and competition.

At HeadsUp, we're also big believers that regular exercise and athletic competion contributes to a better quality of life, and we're excited to help support Insulindependence. You can learn more about the great work that Insulindependence does - and perhaps add a donation of your own - at the Insulindependence website and the Triabetes Club website.

In addition, we have contracted with PRIDE Industries in Roseville, CA, for our warehousing and distribution services.  PRIDE is a not-for-profit company operating in 10 states and the nation’s capital that includes in its mission the goal of creating meaningful jobs for people with disabilities.  PRIDE employs more than 4,300 employees, including over 2,700 people with disabilities, to deliver first-rate manufacturing and service solutions to businesses and government agencies nationwide.  We love it that we can get first-class logistics services and support our community at the same time.  Learn more about PRIDE's mission at the PRIDE Industries website.
